E. V. LeRoux currently lives Long Island New York. Ms. LeRoux credits her family and friends for being the inspiration of much of her work in non- fiction. Being fasinated by the criminal mind, Ms LeRoux has read and researched those who continue to sprout up in our society. Serial killers, such as Bundy and Berkowits, just to name two of the many. The causes of their behavior have been childhood abuses in many cases. And many others who may have had a similiar backgrounds; have not turned to such horrors. Thus the birth of "Detective Colter - Stalker Anthology."
In her earlier years Ms. LeRoux won awards for her costume designs and paintings. Ms. LeRouxs paintings have found a home in several countries as well as the United States. She taught art, to children and adults, at a private studio in Great Neck, New York and her own studio in Rockville Centre, New York.
Her obsession for reading, anything, she could get her hands on, at a young age, created the desire to write. Fulfilling her hearts desire became a reality with her first published suspense thriller "Detective Colter - Stalker Anthology."

A Little About My Site
I know there are many who love to read, but haven’t the time to read a full novel . I found a solution. I have a section call “Story Store” where readers may order ebooks of original short stories of fiction mystery, suspense thrillers. Non-fiction about family (a free gift with each order) which many can relate to. Especially if there are twins in the family. There is a page of “Articles” on writing and a “Writers Info” page with information on how to write, market, and promote your site; a page with reference links to information on writing fiction, copywriting, photography and more. Enjoy your visit. Grab a cup of coffee, relax and browse till your hearts content.

TENACITY
A word that might be linked to the personality of a writer. Whether they be fiction, non-fiction, travel, copywriter, columnist, science fiction, mystery, suspense thriller and the list goes on and on. The one thing they all have in common is “tenacity.” Or some may call it dedication, determination or maybe something else.
Without the above, would anyone become a writer? A good question. Being a writer is a lonely profession, and requires solitude most of the time. I say most of the time, because there have been times where chaos gave birth to some of my most devastating crime scenes.
I write suspense thrillers, mysteries and non-fiction in short story form. Why short stories, you say. Well, because I love short stories. My reading as a child (as with all children) started with short stories. Remember “look at Jane run.”
There is one writer that comes to mind vividly. His name is Steven, and the son of long and dear friends. I became aware of Steven’s desire to write, when, one day I was visiting his mother. She was very concerned about his always on his computer, writing. Stevens was in his twenties then. Now, being a writer myself I didn’t find this strange at all. However, his mother was and constantly wanted to know why he just couldn’t go out and find a “real” job. We all know how that goes. Years go by and still Steven keep writing. He form was, and is, “plays.” Just recently he signed a contract with a producer to put his plays on off-Broadway theaters. Now Steven is in his forties and the road was long and difficult, but he did it. Now that is what I call tenacity. He could have been warn down by the attitude of others, but he keep going and finally is seeing his plays produced.
I saw Steven and his family only a month ago when I got the news. I was so excited for him. I knew how hard he worked and the sacrifices he made to get to this point in his writing. He worked hard to achieve the recognition he so much deserves. Good Luck Steven and Congratulations.
